Anonymous asked:

Do you consider Storm, Captain Marvel and Elektra to be, "girl books" or are they designed for a general audience?

brevoortformspring Answer:

I consider STORM, CAPTAIN MARVEL and ELEKTRA to be Marvel books, and therefore designed to be read and enjoyed by human beings of all stripes.

I wonder if the guy (you know it is) considers Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool or Iron Man to be “boy books”?

Women are brought up to empathise with and accept male leads as par for the course when engaging with any media. Men are not raised with the opposite expectations.
